Loeb Institute for Religious Freedom and Democracy Undergraduate Research Fellowship

The Loeb Institute for Religious Freedom and Democracy Undergraduate Research Fellowship gives two promising students in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences the opportunity to engage in a well-defined research project.

All research projects must be undertaken with ongoing input and direction from a faculty mentor. It is expected that the student and mentor will discuss their expectations regarding the time commitments of both parties, scope of research and anticipated results (e.g., papers, presentations, performances, etc.) and arrive at a mutually agreeable understanding.

  • The fellowship is open with regard to discipline. Students in all majors are encouraged to apply.
  • Student applicants must be full-time undergraduate students in CCAS.
  • Students must have a GPA of 3.4 or above.
